About Tui Na

Acupressure is applying pressure to acupoints on the body. Tui Na (or Tuina, pronounced “twee-nah”), on the other hand, utilizes many different massage strokes that are applied to acupoints, channels and muscle groups.

The importance of Tui Na is that when it is performed correctly and with the right intention, it s the physical expression of the flow of Qi energy from one human being to another. The strokes and techniques stimulate an exchange of Qi energy between the practioner and the patient, and this is the secretbehind the healing power of Tui Na.

Thank you for the great treatment of my daughter while she was in your area. As a fellow acupuncturist it's always hard when your adult child moves away and needs care.
